This dynamic organization provides a range of living options from first-year student housing to vibrant and inclusive residential communities such as the USC Village. These communities are designed not only to provide comfortable living quarters but to foster a thriving environment that promotes safety, support, and a strong sense of belonging within the Trojan Family. With a commitment to excellence, USC Housing strives to enhance campus life through strategic management and innovative residential services that meet the diverse needs of its residents. This department operates with a comprehensive approach, ensuring the physical maintenance, community engagement, and operational efficiency of all its properties.
The Senior Manager role with USC Housing represents a prestigious leadership opportunity within one of USC's flagship residential communities, the USC Village. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operational management of USC Village’s extensive portfolio, which includes over 660 residential units primarily serving first- and second-year students. In addition to residential oversight, this position supports retail operations within the Village, working collaboratively with external property management and various campus partners. The Senior Manager leads a large and diverse team comprising both managerial staff and frontline employees, including union personnel, in a demanding 24/7 operational environment. This position demands a highly organized, proactive leader with strong emotional intelligence to manage complex employee relations and maintain a culture grounded in accountability, respect, and service excellence. The role involves strategic planning, budget management, sustainability initiatives aligned with university goals, and emergency response leadership. Successful execution of these responsibilities results in a well-managed, safe, and engaging residential community that supports the USC mission and promotes the well-being of its residents and staff. The annual base salary range for this full-time position is between $95,229.79 and $98,000, reflecting the role's scope, responsibilities, and required expertise.
