The Senior Manager, Groups & Events Program Enablement (Tech Focus) is a pivotal role within IHG’s Groups & Events division. This position is responsible for supporting the planning, governance, and execution of Groups & Events enablement initiatives, ensuring alignment with the enterprise strategy. The role demands expert program and project management skills to drive technology-related projects from conception to execution across IHG's expansive hotel network. Key responsibilities include leveraging industry-leading tools to create plans and dashboards, maintaining a shared understanding of project statuses, managing risks, and coordinating with vendor and internal teams for successful technology deployment at hotels. The Senior Manager will work closely with Product & Technology, Change Management, and Learning & Development teams to facilitate seamless onboarding and training of hotel operations staff impacted by technology implementations.
This senior-level role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to manage complex, enterprise-scale initiatives effectively. The Senior Manager must be adept at fostering governance cadences, tracking budgets with accuracy, and ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction through clear communication and disciplined execution. Operating in an environment of ambiguity and shifting priorities is common, and this role demands agility and proactive problem-solving. The position is based in Atlanta, with a hybrid work model expecting three days per week onsite, offering a salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 plus eligibility for bonus pay. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5-7+ years of experience in technology implementation at enterprise scale
- Experience with Delphi or related Salesforce products
- Accuracy of budget tracking and forecasting
- Effective governance cadence and decision follow through
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Experience managing enterprise-level projects
- Ability to prepare initiatives for launch readiness and adoption
- Capacity to operate comfortably in ambiguous and evolving environments
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree or PMP preferred but not required
- 5-7+ years of experience in technology implementation at enterprise scale
- Experience with Delphi or other hotel sales products
- or related Salesforce products
- Accuracy of budget tracking and forecasting
- Effectiveness of governance cadence and decision follow through
- Stakeholder satisfaction with clarity, structure, and execution discipline
- Project management of enterprise level initiatives
- Experience preparing initiatives for launch readiness and adoption, particularly where hotel or operational teams are impacted
- Comfort operating in environments with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and competing demands
Job Duties
- Lead enterprise-level program and project management in support of Groups & Events initiatives
- Leverage industry leading tools to deliver plans, approaches, and dashboards for delivery of technical products to hotels
- Create and maintain a common operating picture for Groups & Events initiatives to allow for a shared understanding of project statuses
- Partner with vendor teams to facilitate required work for task completion for Groups & Events Initiatives
- Ensure critical tasks are tracked and completed for technology deployment at the hotel level
- Ensure consistency of documentation, ways of working, and internal processes across Groups & Events initiatives
- Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps and surface them proactively to leadership
- Partner with external teams to ensure smooth onboarding and training for hotels
- Partner with Product & Technology, Change Management, and L&D team members on tech-related hotel onboarding needs
