The company is committed not only to delivering business success but also to fostering sustainable processes that reduce environmental impact and support vibrant, inclusive communities around the world.
Jabil's Intelligent Infrastructure division is at the forefront of innovation in manufacturing test development, specifically targeting hyperscale, AI, and data center infrastructure platforms. The Senior Manager, Manufacturing Test Development role is a strategic leadership position pivotal in driving transformative growth within this division. This role is open to candidates located in Austin or remotely within the USA and offers a competitive salary range between $142,500 and $256,500, supplemented by annual performance-based incentives.
The Senior Manager will oversee the development and execution of rack-scale manufacturing test solutions, integrating software, hardware, and manufacturing domains. This role demands interface across multiple functions including engineering, product management, program management, manufacturing, quality, and direct collaboration with hyperscale and AI customers and strategic suppliers. The individual will lead complex programs that ensure manufacturing test solutions align with rigorous performance standards and exceed customer expectations.
Operating within a high-velocity, global manufacturing ecosystem, the role requires a leader capable of responding with urgency and ownership, often engaging beyond traditional business hours to support factory operations and customer-critical events across international time zones. Hands-on experience in rack-scale systems, server hardware, manufacturing test, and system validation is essential. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, demonstrating accountability and resilience in resolving production and technical challenges swiftly.
Leadership responsibilities encompass managing delivery of manufacturing test solutions for AI/ML, GPU, accelerator-based server, and storage platforms, overseeing onsite commissioning tests for customers, and driving the rack test software roadmap focusing on automation and orchestration within factory environments. Technical rigor, strong engineering discipline, and decision-making acumen are critical, ensuring quality, coverage, and features that enhance production efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The Senior Manager will influence cross-functional teams, customers, and executives, balancing technical expertise with business insight to optimize outcomes. This position involves maintaining global consistency in manufacturing test solutions, providing technical support across multiple sites, and fostering continuous improvement through root cause analysis and preventative action plans. The role demands excellent communication skills to articulate complex system issues across organizational levels and the ability to nurture relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
Functionally, the Senior Manager serves as the primary technical interface for rack-scale manufacturing test development from concept through production, owning test system bring-up, provisioning, validation, and addressing production challenges including test failures and yield issues. The role is integral in preparing test readiness for NPI, reviewing technical risks, and overseeing test plans and validation protocols. Flexibility to support critical factory operations, new product introductions, and customer escalations is necessary.
The ideal candidate possesses strong technical program management capabilities, deep knowledge of product development, NPI, and high-volume manufacturing environments, with expertise in server, storage, networking, and rack-scale system architectures. Proficiency in software development tools and familiarity with system management technologies like IPMI and Redfish are required. The candidate typically holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field, with several years of relevant experience and a history of managing dispersed global teams.
Jabil provides a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, annual bonuses, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, stock purchase programs, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
