Job Requirements

- 4 years experience in human resources management or related professional area
- or 2-year degree in human resources business administration or related major
- 2 years experience in human resources management or related professional area

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- assist in interviewing and hiring human resource team members
- establish and maintain contact with external recruitment sources
- attend job fairs and document outreach efforts
- network with local organizations to source candidates
- oversee candidate identification and selection process
- provide expertise on selection procedures to property managers
- partner with vendor partners for recruitment advertising
- perform quality control on vendor sourcing and selection
- respond to unemployment claims and review accuracy
- prepare and distribute unemployment claim reports
- attend unemployment hearings
- ensure resources are available for employee benefits administration
- support departmental orientation and new hire training
- ensure cross-training of employees
- supervise and conduct employee training initiatives
- coordinate new hire orientation program
- collaborate with management on orientation processes
- maintain effective employee communication channels
- review progressive discipline documentation
- acknowledge employee concerns and refer issues to appropriate management
- partner with Loss Prevention on accident investigations
- communicate performance expectations
- ensure completeness and security of employee files
- comply with privacy and maintenance of medical records
- facilitate drug testing processes
- communicate employee handbook policies
- ensure regular communication of safety and security policies
- conduct claims reviews with Regional Claims office
- represent HR at Safety Committee
- manage Workers Compensation claims
- oversee selection and offer process with proper procedures followed
