The Manager of Conferences and Events at nCino plays a critical role in shaping the company’s event strategy across North America. This leadership role requires overseeing a high-performing team responsible for the flawless delivery of over 60 annual events that align closely with nCino’s business objectives. The position entails combining strong people leadership with strategic program management skills to build organizational capabilities and create competitive advantages in the market through top-notch event experiences. As the leader of conference specialists, this role is accountable for driving talent development programs, establishing clear performance metrics, and ensuring effective succession planning within the team.

The manager’s strategic responsibilities include owning the end-to-end event lifecycle from conceptualization to execution, ensuring all events support marketing OKRs, brand positioning, product marketing messaging, and revenue goals. Collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and Executive leadership teams is essential to align events with pipeline generation, customer retention, and expansion objectives. This role also involves building and managing a comprehensive global event budget, optimizing ROI without compromising on attendee experience.

Another key focus area is establishing and influencing global best practices for event planning, production, and measurement. The manager develops repeatable, scalable frameworks working closely with global regions, driving innovation in event formats, technology integration, and attendee engagement. Additionally, the role requires cultivating strategic vendor and agency partnerships to enhance operational efficiencies and competitive positioning. Staying current with emerging event trends and technologies, the manager ensures that nCino’s event presence remains innovative and differentiated in the financial services community. The position involves approximately 15% travel and demands someone who thrives under pressure in a dynamic environment.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $93,900 to $159,600, reflecting market data and internal pay philosophies. Job Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or advanced degree
  • 8 plus years related professional experience
  • 2 plus years management experience
  • Experience in the fintech or technology sectors
  • Familiarity with event management software and digital event platforms
  • Experience with event analytics and ROI measurement
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Cvent and event technology platforms

Job Duties

  • Lead develop and scale a team of conference specialists through structured talent development programs clear performance frameworks and proactive succession planning
  • Own North America event strategy from concept to execution ensuring every event ties directly to company objectives marketing OKRs brand positioning product marketing messaging and revenue goals
  • Establish and influence global best practices for event planning production and measurement creating repeatable scalable frameworks in collaboration across all global regions
