The Senior Maintenance Technician role at Fairfield involves comprehensive maintenance responsibilities across various property areas. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, this position requires expertise in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, pool and hot tub equipment, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. The Senior Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and general upkeep of the property and its amenities. In addition to performing maintenance tasks and responding promptly to resident requests, the Technician oversees the work of outside contractors during the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor and manages inventory and supply purchasing. The role demands compliance with all safety and regulatory standards and active engagement in resident functions and community communication. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with an estimated pay range of $25.11 to $28.08 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
