The role of Housekeeper at Brookdale Senior Living plays a critical part in ensuring that the community remains clean, safe, and comfortable for all residents. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks in resident apartments, restrooms, and common areas, requiring a strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of sanitation. The Housekeeper is responsible for vacuuming carpets, shampooing surfaces, wet mopping and waxing floors, as well as promptly addressing any room emergencies related to cleanliness. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial role preferred
- Ability to lift and move moderate weight
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Must be able to interact positively with seniors
- Must pass background check and drug screening

Job Duties
- Cleaning and disinfecting resident apartments, restrooms, and public spaces
- Vacuuming carpets and shampooing surfaces
- Wet mopping, waxing, and sanitizing floors
- Removing trash and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility
- Responding to resident room emergencies promptly
- Logging cleaning activities as required
- Interacting with residents and guests in a friendly and courteous manner
