Provincial Senior Living is currently seeking a Cook to join one of their community teams. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the quality and consistency of food service offered to residents. The Cook will be responsible for preparing hot and cold menu items across various stations including the grill, saute station, salad bar, and service line. Attention to food safety, portion control, and presentation is paramount in this position. The successful candidate will ensure that meals meet quality standards and are prepared according to standardized recipes and menu cycles. Experience in senior living or healthcare food service environments is preferred, but candidates with strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering quality cuisine will thrive in this role. The position includes weekend work as part of the scheduling requirements.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Good physical stamina
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work weekends

Job Duties

  • Assist with kitchen cleanliness and organization
