Leidos is currently seeking a Senior Linux Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to join their team on-site at Langley Air Force Base, VA. This role focuses on designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for various deployments, managing Red Hat Linux environments, and providing technical leadership within a high-stakes, mission-critical setting. The Senior Linux Engineer will be responsible for administering server hardware, deploying Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 operating systems, and managing critical applications. This position demands expertise in automation platforms like Ansible, Terraform, and Packer, along with strong skills in Linux system management and containerization technologies such as Podman, Docker, Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency by automating deployments, optimizing system performance, and ensuring robust security compliance. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks, managing configuration with Ansible Automation Platform, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and leading efforts to integrate automation into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
