The Enterprise Platform and Engineering IT team at Citco is central to these efforts, tasked with advancing the organization's technological capabilities and embedding innovation across its operations. Currently, Citco is looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead with expertise in developing enterprise pipeline tools, CI/CD strategies, and embracing cutting-edge DevOps methodologies to fill a hands-on leadership position within this dynamic team. The role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Architecture and Platform Engineering, offering the successful candidate an opportunity to lead transformation projects within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

The Technical Lead will spearhead the design and implementation of a unified enterprise pipeline framework using industry-leading tools such as Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and other relevant CI/CD platforms. They will be responsible for building a scalable Jenkins infrastructure capable of handling multiple concurrent jobs while serving all IT teams across the organization. This role requires not only deep technical expertise but also strong leadership qualities, as the lead will manage a team of developers and DevOps engineers, define project deliverables and timelines, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with stakeholders to champion the DevOps culture across Citco.

Emphasizing operational excellence, the Technical Lead will ensure pipeline administration is robust, enforcing Infrastructure as Code principles, compliance auditing, and governance standards. They will proactively monitor the production environment, troubleshoot service disruptions, lead root cause analyses, and drive remediation initiatives to maintain high availability and reliability of CI/CD pipelines. This position demands a creative thinker who is also a teacher and mentor, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration within the team while pushing for end-to-end automation in deployment processes and continually assessing emerging CI/CD technologies for organizational adoption.

Ideal candidates will have over three years of experience managing technical teams and leading the delivery of scalable pipeline solutions, combined with strong expertise in Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and a solid understanding of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform. Coding proficiency in Python or Node.js, familiarity with version control systems like Git, and hands-on experience with cloud services including EC2, S3, IAM, and Aurora are essential. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or pipeline tool development
  • Proven experience leading technical teams
  • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline tools

  • Proficient coding skills in Python or Node.js

Job Qualifications

  • Strong background in Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and other CI/CD tools
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or equivalent cloud/DevOps tech is a plus
  • Solid coding skills (e.g., Python, Node.js) and a solid grasp of version control (Git)
  • 3+ years of experience in leading and managing a team and accountable for deliverables
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud providers
  • Strong understanding of IaC principles
  • Experience of automating infrastructure deployment
  • Demonstrate hands on working knowledge with AWS and its services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Python and Aurora
  • Experience in software-defined-networks, software-defined-data-centers, virtual private clouds and other core network technology
  • Experienced with DevOps and ITIL

Job Duties

  • Lead the design and implement a unified enterprise pipeline framework leveraging Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, or other relevant tools
  • Build a scalable Jenkins platform that can handle multiple concurrent jobs and service all IT teams
  • Assess emerging CI/CD technologies, recommend improvements, and drive tool adoption across teams
  • Lead a team of developers and devops engineers to build a robust Jenkins platform
  • Define deliverables and timelines and be responsible for ensuring these are met on time
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, align on strategy, and champion DevOps culture
  • Pipeline administration and ensure all teams utilise Infrastructure as Code to effect change and that the environment features the required controls and audit components to validate resource compliance
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching for all staff and foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, innovation and collaboration
  • Define and implement all operational components required to proactively monitor and manage the production environment, identify operational issues and maintain efficient operations
  • Lead team through all service disruptions to ensure services are restored
  • drive root cause analysis and remediation initiatives post any service disruption
  • Define and enforce governance, security, and compliance standards across the pipeline ecosystem
  • Identify bottlenecks, propose optimizations, and push for end-to-end automation in the deployment process
