The University of Cincinnati Main Campus is currently seeking a Senior Kitchen Supervisor to join their food service team managed by Sodexo. This full-time role offers a competitive pay rate of $25.00 per hour and involves varying shifts with open availability preferred, ensuring flexibility for employees to meet operational needs. The Senior Kitchen Supervisor position is pivotal in maintaining high standards in food quality, customer service, and safety within various food operation settings such as fast casual dining, coffee and counter service, cafeterias, events, banquets, casual dining, and cafes.

As a Senior Kitchen Supervisor, the incumbent will provide frontline support and oversight for food service employees, coordinating routine work activities under the direction of management. This role demands a strong multitasker with leadership capabilities who can positively influence team dynamics, foster a safe and healthy work environment, and drive customer satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work varying shifts including days and hours
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business

  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
