The Kitchen Manager role is a vital leadership position within our restaurant, designed to oversee and optimize the daily culinary and operational aspects of the establishment. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of high-volume full service corporate casual dining restaurant experience
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Customer service, communication, and team management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours
  • Ability to motivate and direct managers and employees effectively

Job Duties

  • Manage and oversee the daily culinary restaurant operations
  • Perform open / mid-day / closing duties
  • Deliver superior guest service ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate communication and assist between the front of the house and back of the house staff and managers
  • Mentor and coach front of the house and back of the house staff
  • Make hiring and termination recommendations to the general manager
  • Oversee all financial responsibilities including inventory, ordering food, and hitting all labor targets
  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor
  • Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding including scheduling training
  • Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
