The manager is a pivotal figure in coaching employees, recognizing performance, and cultivating professional development within the front desk team.

Candidates must bring at least two years of relevant management experience in similar hotel environments, exhibit technical proficiency with property management systems such as Opera or LMS for the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and demonstrate the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.   • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays required
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience in direction and management of employees in similar hotel environment required

Job Duties

  • Work closely with the VP and Director of Hotel Ops to implement strategic initiatives provided by Hotel Strategy CoE
  • Lead the implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, rules and regulations for all front desk operations team
  • Responsible for employee engagement of the front desk operations team, utilizing tools provided through coaching, training, rewards, and development
  • Provide leadership and direction to maintain and improve the guest experience within front desk operations, consistent with company service standards
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and coach hotel operations staff for the efficient operation of the department
