Job Description

Marriott International is a globally recognized hospitality company that operates a broad portfolio of hotels and lodging facilities worldwide. With its dedication to providing exceptional experiences for guests, Marriott is known for its innovative approach to hospitality and its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and member satisfaction. Among its distinguished brands is Renaissance Hotels, a collection that aims to immerse guests in the culture of the neighborhoods they visit, offering unique and memorable experiences that go beyond the ordinary. Renaissance Hotels embodies the spirit of adventure and discovery, inviting guests to explore local culture and enjoy personalized stays that feel both spontaneous and authentic.

The Senior Manager of Group Strategy role is a vital position within Marriott International, specifically focusing on revenue management at Renaissance Hotels. This full-time, remote management position is based in Orlando, Florida, with an annual salary range between $88,000 and $119,000, along with eligibility for bonuses. It offers professionals a unique opportunity to advance their careers in revenue management by evaluating sales opportunities, maximizing revenue and profitability, and serving as a key liaison between sales organizations and revenue management teams.

This role involves a deep analysis of business leads originating from the sales organization to determine the most profitable pricing options and alternative dates or properties. As a Senior Manager of Group Strategy, you will ensure that the hotel maximizes its revenue by effectively calculating the displacement of other business to find profitable price points. Acting as both a sales and customer advocate on behalf of Revenue Management, you will play an essential role in enhancing the sales process and improving customer satisfaction.

Your core responsibilities will include executing revenue management projects and strategies by providing expert business evaluations to sales market leaders, responding promptly to sales leads, and communicating results and challenges to relevant stakeholders. You will help improve the effectiveness of revenue management processes by analyzing brand initiatives, demand, and market trends across hotels, clusters, franchise partners, and owners. Protecting the brand equity and participating in regional reviews will also be important facets of your responsibility.

In this leadership role, you will develop and manage both short-term and long-term group and catering strategies tailored to individual properties. You will take predetermined strategies and drive their execution while demonstrating a thorough understanding of job-related products, systems, and processes. The position requires gathering and analyzing information, collaborating with colleagues to manage projects, and achieving organizational goals.

A significant aspect of the role involves conducting displacement analysis, determining pricing options for various sales leads including group, transient, and catering business. You will perform need date evaluations, diary audits, and develop group and catering forecasts. Maintaining accurate records, analyzing data to identify challenges, and submitting timely reports will be critical to ensuring smooth revenue operations.

Relationship building is also a key part of the Senior Manager of Group Strategy position. You will develop constructive and cooperative relationships with internal stakeholders, keeping executives, peers, and subordinates informed and updated with relevant information. The role demands strong communication and collaborative skills within a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment.

Marriott International is committed to equal opportunity employment, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse backgrounds are valued and celebrated. By joining Renaissance Hotels, you become part of a global team that is passionate about delivering extraordinary brand experiences and creating a sense of belonging for both guests and employees. This role is designed for those who are enthusiastic about hospitality, revenue optimization, and contributing to a brand that celebrates local culture and the unexpected. If you are driven to excel and eager to advance in revenue management, this position offers a promising path to grow professionally within a leading global hospitality company.
