Job Description

Iron Mountain is a global leader in storage and information management services, trusted by over 225,000 organizations across 60 countries. Established as an industry innovator, the company specializes in safeguarding critical business information, highly sensitive data, and invaluable cultural and historic artifacts. Iron Mountain offers expert, sustainable solutions in records and information management, digital transformation services, data centers, asset lifecycle management, and fine art storage, handling, and logistics. This comprehensive range of services enables organizations to lower costs and risks, comply with regulations, recover from disasters, and adopt digital and sustainable business practices. Committed to social responsibility and innovation, Iron Mountain is dedicated to preserving artifacts, optimizing inventory management, and protecting data privacy worldwide.

The Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) division at Iron Mountain is currently seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Senior Global Events Professional to drive its event strategy and execution. This individual contributor role holds substantial influence by managing the company’s presence at premier industry conferences and proprietary events around the world. The Senior Global Events Professional will architect the entire event experience, from strategic alignment with business goals to the detailed logistics involving booth shipping and lead capture.

This role combines creative strategy, communications, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a master project manager capable of balancing multiple complex timelines while pivoting seamlessly between high-level planning and hands-on execution. Key responsibilities include defining and executing a global events roadmap that aligns with ALM’s growth, brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation objectives. The individual will lead all phases of event management, including event selection, contract negotiation, vendor management, booth design, logistics, marketing campaigns, on-site execution, and post-event analysis.

Collaboration is integral to the role, requiring coordination across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure consistent messaging and stakeholder readiness. The Senior Global Events Professional will own the global events budget, optimizing every dollar to maximize return on investment while providing detailed reports on spending and event performance. Effective communication is essential, with responsibilities that include crafting event-related content such as internal briefings, promotional emails, and communications for attendees and staff before and after events.

The candidate will also work closely with Demand Generation teams to ensure leads captured at events integrate smoothly into the company's CRM system (Salesforce). The position demands a global mindset, with experience managing international shipping, customs, and cultural nuances associated with executing global events. Travel is required approximately 30-35%, encompassing both domestic and international trips, and flexibility to work across multiple time zones is necessary.

Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in corporate event management, preferably within a global B2B or technology environment. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, professional-grade communication abilities, and a proactive approach as a self-starter who can own the function independently. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field is required.

Iron Mountain offers competitive compensation with a salary range from $75,300 to $94,100, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance, and ample opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth. By joining Iron Mountain, candidates will play a key role in elevating the company’s global brand presence and contributing directly to its global footprint. The company promotes an inclusive and equal opportunity workplace committed to diversity and accommodating employees' needs.
