With a focus on bespoke lifestyle hotel brands, legacy brands, and independent hotels and resorts, the company integrates contemporary programming and advanced digital acumen to elevate guest experiences and asset performance. The company prides itself on utilizing state-of-the-art revenue management tools, enabling it to efficiently predict and respond to evolving market dynamics, thus driving superior financial results and maximizing asset value.
Headquartered with corporate offices in key cities including New York, Chicago, Dallas, London, Miami, and Seattle, Highgate remains a trusted partner to top ownership groups and major hotel brands thanks to its experienced executive team and deep industry knowledge. The role of Senior Overnight Front Office Manager at Highgate’s New Yorker Hotel situates candidates at the heart of a thriving landmark destination in New York City. The hotel attracts a diverse clientele from around the globe, boosted by its strategic proximity to prominent venues like the Jacob Javits Convention Center and Hudson Yards, alongside the vibrant, revitalized West Side of Manhattan. The role presents a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional service while managing the multifaceted responsibilities of front office operations overnight.
As Senior Overnight Front Office Manager, the successful candidate will be entrusted with maintaining superior guest services across the Guest Services, Concierge, and Uniformed Services/Transportation departments during overnight hours. This position requires an attentive, friendly, and efficient approach that fosters high guest satisfaction and loyalty, while also driving maximum room revenue and occupancy. Responsibilities include responding proactively to guest requests and complaints, motivating and developing front office staff, overseeing scheduling and payroll compliance, managing revenue metrics, and ensuring seamless coordination with other departments such as Housekeeping, Reservations, and Accounting.
This position is not only integral to daily hotel operations but also acts as a key contributor to maintaining the highest standards of professional hospitality and operational excellence. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate exemplary customer service skills, supervisory experience, and the ability to handle complex operational challenges with a focus on quality and efficiency.
