The University of Cincinnati Main Campus is currently seeking a Senior Food Supervisor to join its dynamic team under the employment of Sodexo. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $25 and requires availability for varying shifts, with an emphasis on open availability to accommodate the diverse operating hours of the campus food services. As a Senior Food Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations within multiple food service environments such as fast casual dining, coffee and counter service, cafeterias, events and banquets, casual dining, and cafes. This leadership role demands exceptional multitasking abilities and a passion for improving the quality of life through excellent food service management.

The Senior Food Supervisor’s responsibilities encompass supporting management in supervising employees during business hours, ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards, facilitating training and orientation of new staff, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing quality and service issues promptly and professionally. You will also be responsible for creating and sustaining a safe working environment, promoting teamwork, and contributing to the overall success of the food service operations. This role is ideal for a candidate with at least two years of relevant experience, including some supervisory background, who values adaptability, reliability, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Job Duties

  • provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
