The role of a Senior Food Supervisor at Sodexo's Erlanger Baroness Hospital location is a full-time position with varying shifts including days and hours; open availability is preferred to accommodate the dynamic nature of the work schedule. The pay range for this role is $18 to $21 per hour, reflecting the importance of the supervisory responsibilities involved. The Senior Food Supervisor serves as a critical link between management and service employees, overseeing daily food service operations which cover multiple platforms such as fast casual dining, coffee and counter service, cafeterias, events, banquets, and casual dining cafes.

In this role, the Senior Food Supervisor ensures that the food service team operates smoothly and efficiently by coordinating routine work activities and providing support to leadership. Key responsibilities include maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, facilitating orientation and training to foster employee development, and working directly with customers to assure satisfaction in quality, service, and issue resolution. The Senior Food Supervisor acts as a dependable leader on-site, ensuring that scheduled shifts are covered with punctuality and reliability while adapting to the varied needs of different accounts and client requirements.

Candidates who excel in this role are team-oriented and adaptable, with at least two years of related work experience and preferably previous supervisory experience. The position demands strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills to nurture a positive workplace culture and promote safety and quality standards.
