This role, located at La Sierra University, offers a full-time position as a Senior Food Supervisor with a competitive hourly pay range of $25.00 to $28.00. Shifts vary, with open availability preferred to accommodate different scheduling needs, providing flexibility and opportunity for meaningful impact. As a Senior Food Supervisor with Sodexo, you will be integral to ensuring high-quality food operations, spanning fast casual, coffee and counter service, cafeterias, events and banquets, casual dining, and cafes. Your responsibilities will center on supporting management by coordinating and overseeing daily work activities of food service employees to maintain excellent service standards.
In this position, you will serve as the key point of contact on-site, providing leadership, training, and problem resolution to foster a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment. Your role involves multitasking across various functions—ensuring customer satisfaction, facilitating employee orientation and ongoing training, and enhancing workplace safety. Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Open availability preferred
- Ability to work varying shifts, including days and hours
- Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Duties
- Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
- Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
- Facilitate orientation and training of employees
- Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
- Attend work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned, varying among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
