The company’s mission centers on enhancing the quality of life through innovative and sustainable solutions, ensuring satisfaction and well-being for clients, employees, and communities alike. Sodexo values diversity, inclusivity, and respect, fostering a supportive environment where every individual can thrive and contribute meaningfully.

The University of Saint Joseph, a prominent educational institution, is partnered with Sodexo to deliver exceptional food service management on its campus. The collaboration combines Sodexo’s vast expertise with the university’s dedication to providing a nurturing and dynamic environment for students, faculty, and staff. Situated in a vibrant academic community, this partnership emphasizes quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in all food operations ranging from fast casual dining to event catering.

The Senior Food Supervisor role at Sodexo represents a pivotal leadership position within the food service team at the University of Saint Joseph. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $31.00 and involves working varied shifts, primarily afternoons and evenings with some weekends and holidays. As a Senior Food Supervisor, you will act as a key supporting leader, overseeing daily food service activities and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities include coordinating service employees engaged in multiple food operations, such as cafeterias, casual dining, coffee counters, and banquet events, providing guidance and mentorship to maintain high standards.

In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a safe and welcoming workplace environment, facilitating orientation and ongoing training for team members, and working closely with management to meet customer expectations and resolve any service issues effectively. Your leadership skills and commitment to quality and safety will directly impact the satisfaction of customers and the overall success of Sodexo’s operations at the university. Sodexo encourages a team-oriented approach and values reliability, adaptability, and a proactive attitude toward workplace health and safety.

This position is ideal for candidates with at least two years of relevant experience, preferably with prior supervisory responsibilities in food service or hospitality settings. Sodexo offers a flexible and supportive work environment designed to accommodate life’s important moments, along with opportunities for career development and advancement. The company’s comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401k plans, and various employee discount programs.

Sodexo’s commitment to employee well-being extends further with some locations providing additional unique benefits such as free shift meals or allowances, uniforms, safety shoes, and transportation support. The company fosters a culture of belonging where all employees are respected and treated fairly regardless of background or personal characteristics, promoting equal opportunities for professional growth.
