The available role is for a Senior Food Service Worker on a temporary, extra-help basis with a term limited to up to 9 months. This position offers an estimated pay range of $19.8853 to $26.7242 per hour, representing a portion of the total compensation package that may include shift differentials, incentives, and bonuses. The Senior Food Service Worker specializes in managing specialty diets within the hospital setting and operates under the direct supervision of the Food Service Director. The role is primarily involved in the operation and maintenance of the institution's kitchen, overseeing the tray line setup, and ensuring the accuracy and flow of patient dietary orders, which are critical for patient recovery and satisfaction. Responsibilities also include maintaining patient diet orders, preparing and delivering snacks, auditing unit kitchens, reviewing stock levels, supporting other food service workers, and ensuring that sanitation and safety standards are met rigorously in compliance with all federal, state, and hospital regulations.
