This role of Senior Food Service Associate reports directly to the Food Services Manager and operates within key areas including the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom, and patient services. The position involves performing a wide variety of food service tasks such as meal assembly, food service and delivery, catering duties, dishwashing, ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met, and providing assistance with the training of new Food Service Workers. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in kitchen operations and adherence to sanitary control techniques to ensure a safe and high-quality food service environment. The role requires flexibility as shifts vary, potentially including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and candidates must be able to maintain a steady work pace that corresponds to the workload. Communication skills are essential in order to read, write, and follow both written and oral instructions in English effectively. The position also demands the ability to foster effective working relationships throughout the health system, contributing to a collaborative and patient-focused workplace environment. Job Requirements
