Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years experience in food and beverage or related field
  • OR 2-year degree in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • 3 years experience in food and beverage or related professional area
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent customer service orientation

  • ability to manage operations and budgets

  • knowledge of industry standards and compliance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 5 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in food service management, hospitality or related field with 3 years of relevant experience
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills

  • knowledge of food and beverage operations and standards
  • understanding of budgeting and financial management
  • ability to foster a positive and inclusive team environment
  • experience in customer service excellence
  • competency in managing human resources including hiring and performance evaluations

Job Duties

  • Supervises daily food and beverage shift operations and ensures compliance with policies, standards and procedures
  • manages day-to-day operations to maintain quality and meet customer expectations
  • assists in ordering supplies, cleaning materials, and uniforms
  • supports and supervises a monthly self-inspection program
  • operates department equipment and reports malfunctions
  • levels staffing to meet service and budget objectives
  • encourages mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • performs employee duties in their absence when needed
  • develops goals and plans to prioritize and accomplish work
  • monitors productivity and ensures understanding of brand philosophy
  • maintains operating budget and ensures compliance with legal obligations
  • assists supervisors in understanding team needs
  • celebrates successes and learns from failures
  • communicates areas needing attention and follows up
  • coordinates cleaning programs and recommends improvements
  • establishes collaborative relationships with employees
