The Food & Beverage Manager role at Schulte Hospitality Group is a critical leadership position that entails overseeing the front of house operations within both restaurant and hotel settings. This managerial position requires a service-oriented mindset, excellent leadership skills, and hands-on operational expertise. The manager will be responsible for directing a team of associates and supervisors to ensure seamless food and beverage service that meets or exceeds brand standards and guest expectations. Daily responsibilities include hiring, training, supervising, and motivating service staff, facilitating effective communication throughout the team, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive work environment. Additionally, the position involves managing essential administrative tasks such as bi-weekly payroll processing, inventory control, and ordering supplies, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations.

The Food & Beverage Manager must also uphold strict safety, health, and hygiene standards consistently, ensuring a safe environment for guests and employees alike. This role requires someone who can balance operational demands with guest satisfaction, all while driving the team to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a food and beverage environment, preferably within a similar size restaurant operation. Knowledge of three meal restaurants, hotel food and beverage operations, and room service is highly desirable. The position offers a flexible work schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or certificate
  • Minimum of two years of food and beverage supervisory experience
  • Experience in similar size restaurant operation
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Hire and train service staff
  • Ensure direct and facilitate communication, engagement and conflict resolutions as needed by the team to ensure a positive associate environment
  • Process bi-weekly payroll
  • Manage inventory and order supplies
  • Supervise front of house operations to meet brand and guest satisfaction standards
  • Uphold safety, health and hygiene standards consistently
  • Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
