The Senior Food & Beverage Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in maintaining the Club's sophisticated yet inviting ambiance while overseeing front-of-house operations. This full-time position demands a dynamic individual capable of managing diverse aspects of food and beverage service, including customer relations, staff leadership, inventory, and event coordination. A unique blend of operational savvy and a passion for hospitality is essential for success. The manager ensures every member and guest receives personalized, high-quality service reflective of the Club's standards. Responsibilities cover a wide range of duties such as managing reservations, optimizing seating arrangements, upholding quality control across dining atmospheres, and spearheading staff training in wine knowledge, craft cocktails, and service etiquette. The role also encompasses financial oversight with a focus on controlling labor and operational costs while sustaining an upscale member experience.
Collaboration is key as the manager works closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service and elevate the dining experience. Additionally, this position involves orchestrating private and club-wide special events, requiring a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage high-volume service periods. Job Duties
- ensure every member and guest enjoys a memorable and personalized dining experience
- lead and inspire the front-of-house team including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- manage reservations, table assignments, and waitlists
- maintain pristine condition and ambiance of dining areas
- develop strong relationships with members, address feedback, and handle special requests
- possess in-depth knowledge of menu offerings to assist members
- lead staff training sessions on service standards, menu knowledge, and member interaction
- handle front-of-house inventory and conduct monthly beverage inventories
- maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing
- monitor costs and collaborate to achieve financial objectives
- foster communication and teamwork with kitchen, bar, and management teams
- perform other assignments from Food and Beverage Director or General Manager
- plan and manage multiple club and private special events
