The Senior Testing Technician role at ABM is designed for an advanced electrical testing professional responsible for independently performing, analyzing, and evaluating electrical power equipment and systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring project success, customer satisfaction, technical quality, and operational excellence while fostering a strong safety culture. Candidates do not need NETA certification but should possess advanced technical expertise, leadership abilities, and extensive field experience in electrical power systems.

As a Senior Testing Technician, you will conduct acceptance, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning testing on a variety of electrical equipment including low-, medium-, and high-voltage switchgear, protective relays, transformers, circuit breakers, motor control centers, automatic transfer switches, power cables, and battery and grounding systems. Your work will involve analyzing test data to assess equipment condition and recommending corrective actions, performing advanced troubleshooting tasks, and overseeing electrical switching operations in compliance with company procedures and industry standards.

In addition to hands-on technical work, this leadership-oriented role requires you to manage on-site project activities, coordinate work with customers and subcontractors, review project documents such as specifications and one-line diagrams, and prepare detailed technical reports and documentation. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior technicians, promoting a proactive safety culture, and driving continuous improvement in testing protocols are also essential components of this position. Because of the dynamic nature of ABM's business, you should be prepared to travel up to 75% to support customer projects, emergency responses, outages, commissioning efforts, and critical shutdowns.

This position offers a competitive base pay rate of $60.00 to $75.00 per hour plus paid overtime, reflecting relevant experience, skills, and geographic factors.
