The role available is for a Senior Food and Beverage Manager at one of the partner venues, Restaurant Cowboy Chow. This role is crucial in managing daily operations and executing strategic initiatives within the food and beverage department. The Senior Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing employee performance, managing registers and inventory, optimizing profits, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a high-volume destination environment. The position reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director and entails responsibilities that include managing sales, margins, and inventory while ensuring adherence to company standards.

As a Senior Food and Beverage Manager, the individual will directly influence the profitability and operational excellence of Restaurant Cowboy Chow. Key focus areas include compliance with company service and cash control procedures, coaching and guiding the food and beverage team, supervising daily activities, proactively managing guest relationships and complaints, scheduling and staffing, maintaining high-quality food preparation, and managing inventory with close coordination with purchasing. Additionally, the role involves oversight of financial and administrative duties related to invoicing, reporting, HR, and payroll.

Operational excellence is sustained through diligent adherence to health and safety standards, cleanliness, professional appearance, and a safe working environment. Managing purchasing processes, cash handling, scheduling, staff counseling, and setting a positive professional example are all integral duties of this position. Active participation in weekly operations meetings ensures alignment across the team and with management goals. Job Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years hospitality experience in a high volume fast-paced restaurant
  • Restaurant management experience preferred
  • Proficient in food planning and preparation
  • Skilled in inventory management and sanitation
  • Experienced in service standards and staffing
  • Knowledgeable in payroll and financial reporting
  • Effective organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Maintaining punctuality and dependability
  • Ability to handle pressure effectively

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in hotel/restaurant management desirable
  • Minimum 3 years hospitality experience in high volume fast-paced restaurant
  • Restaurant management experience preferred
  • Proficient in food planning, preparation, inventory management, sanitation, service standards, staffing, payroll and financial reporting
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective communication skills for staff and guest interaction
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to work long hours including flexible shifts
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism

Job Duties

  • Understand and execute Legends Best Practices standards
  • Assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
  • Coach and communicate with the F&B team about products and services
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of food and beverage staff to ensure prompt and courteous service
  • Proactively deal with guest queries and complaints ensuring satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate staffing plans and schedules
  • Ensure consistent high quality food preparation and service
  • Manage inventory tracking and collaborate with purchasing
  • Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs
  • Maintain professional restaurant image and cleanliness
  • Oversee financial, HR, and payroll related administrative duties
  • Supervise general cleaning tasks to meet health standards
  • Foster positive working relationships among employees
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment and complete accident reports
  • Manage Food Handler’s certificate procurement and updates
  • Conduct buying and re-ordering processes including purchase orders
  • Enforce cash handling procedures
  • Manage opening and closing procedures ensuring secure and tidy environment
  • Counsel team members on performance and take corrective actions
  • Maintain professionalism and manage issues according to company standards
  • Attend weekly operations meetings
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management
