Working at GDB offers a unique opportunity to utilize technical skills in a meaningful way that supports an impactful mission. The campus features a variety of interesting indoor and outdoor work environments such as offices, kennels, clinics, residences, and a commercial kitchen, offering a diverse and stimulating work experience. The role demands a resourceful, hands-on professional who thrives in a collaborative setting and values building strong relationships across multiple departments and locations on a self-contained campus. In addition to a meaningful mission and engaging work environments, the position includes a generous benefits package that features paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a retirement savings plan. Training opportunities and support for obtaining and maintaining professional licenses are also provided, ensuring continuous career growth and development. You can expect a stable and consistent schedule to help balance your work and personal life, and for those who appreciate pet-friendly workplaces, bring your dog to work is allowed at this campus. This role requires some flexibility, including weekend, evening, and on-call duties for emergency response, highlighting the importance of readiness and commitment to maintaining the facility's standards.
