The Executive Chef 2 at Sodexo is a pivotal culinary leader tasked with overseeing all aspects of culinary operations within a corporate services dining environment. In this role, you will lead daily culinary operations across a range of services including café dining, catering, and executive dining. You will develop and execute modern, creative menus that appeal to professional tastes while reflecting current culinary trends and dietary preferences. A key function of the role is to mentor, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistent, high-quality culinary execution that meets both client and Sodexo standards. Managing food costs, inventory, purchasing, and waste control is also critical to achieving financial targets and operational efficiency.
Additionally, the Executive Chef 2 ensures stringent compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements to uphold the highest standards of health and safety. The role involves collaborating closely with the General Manager and client teams to support special events, VIP functions, and continuous service enhancements. Job Requirements
- Minimum education requirement - associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum management experience - 2 years
- Minimum functional experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
- Ability to lead culinary teams effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Experience in menu development and cost control
- Strong communication skills

- Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
