The Senior Events Manager role at ISC2 is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the Americas event portfolio, which includes in-person, virtual, hybrid events, workshops, and webinars. This position requires strategic oversight to establish priorities, success metrics, and frameworks that enhance member engagement, reinforce ISC2’s brand, and meet revenue targets. The Senior Events Manager will also serve as the global program owner for ISC2’s virtual events and webinar series, continuously improving the program’s design, technology integration, scalability, and attendee experience.
In this role, you will lead the Americas Events team, providing strategic direction and governance while managing annual planning, goals, and budgets. You will analyze event performance and attendee insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize program content and audience acquisition. Oversight of regional budgets and financial analysis will support informed decision-making, while a commitment to operational excellence and balanced workloads will foster a positive team culture aligned with ISC2’s core values.
You will act as the global leader for ISC2's virtual event offerings, ensuring seamless integration of technology, high-quality delivery, and scalable program development. Collaborating closely with marketing and member engagement teams, you will work to increase audience reach and engagement. Managing vendor partnerships, contracts, and data integrations for the event technology ecosystem will be key responsibilities, along with staying current on industry best practices and trends.
This position demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication and influencing skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. A professional demeanor, integrity, and commitment to team collaboration are essential. The role also requires up to 20% domestic travel and the ability to work extended hours during events.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or relevant field
- 10+ years of experience managing various types of events
- 5+ years experience with virtual platforms and event technology
- Proven leadership and team development experience
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically
- Ability to work extended hours as events require
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs during onsite events
- Commitment to integrity and professionalism
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a global organization
Job Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or relevant field
- 10+ years of event management experience
- 5+ years experience with virtual platforms and event technology such as CVENT
- CMP or other event certification preferred
- Experience in cybersecurity, technology, or membership associations is a plus
- Familiarity with webinar platforms and CRM system integrations
Job Duties

- Develop scalable processes and Standard Operating Procedures
- Identify and mitigate operational, technical, and financial risks
- Define vision and success metrics for virtual events and webinars
- Act as strategic lead for global virtual event and webinar programs
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure high-quality event delivery
- Work with marketing to enhance audience reach
- Maintain global webinar calendar and production processes
- Manage event technology ecosystem including vendor partnerships and contracts
- Evaluate technology performance and recommend enhancements
- Stay informed of event management trends and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes
- Understand ISC2 certifications and member services to enhance engagement
- Carry out additional assigned duties as necessary
