The position demands strong leadership skills to direct pre- and post-event meetings, solve operational challenges proactively, and maintain excellent communication with both internal teams and customers. You will also manage group room blocks and meeting spaces, ensuring all standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to, while celebrating team successes publicly to encourage a positive work environment.
In addition to event coordination, you will play a key part in executing sales and marketing strategies by participating in customer site inspections and serving as the liaison between field sales personnel and customers. Financial oversight responsibilities include forecasting room and event revenue, reviewing client billing and payments, and managing overall event profitability. Throughout each event, you will provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with guests, addressing any complaints, and following up after events to gather feedback and enhance future experiences.
