A key aspect of the position is to facilitate smooth transitions from sales to service and back, recognizing opportunities for revenue enhancement through up-selling and creative event enhancements. This role also demands strong leadership as it supports and occasionally acts on behalf of the Director of Event Management or Planning and Operations.

The Event Manager plays a critical role in customer relations, ensuring continuous engagement and exceptional service delivery. This involves greeting and communicating with clients, managing guest feedback, resolving complaints, and setting a positive example for guest relations. The job involves leading pre- and post-event meetings, overseeing all operational challenges and solutions, and coordinating with internal teams and external customers to uphold the highest standards and policies.

This position offers an annual salary range between $78,000 and $99,000, with bonus eligibility. The successful candidate will enjoy numerous benefits typical of a leading hospitality company, alongside a vibrant work culture that embraces diversity and innovation. JW Marriott's commitment to being an equal opportunity employer ensures an inclusive environment that values the unique backgrounds and experiences of all employees.
