The role offered is an Event Manager position based in Nashville, Tennessee, within a full-time, management capacity. With an annual pay range between $74,000 and $99,000 plus bonus eligibility, this role caters to professionals eager to operate at the intersection of event coordination, client relationship management, and operational execution. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in event management or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Ability to lead pre-event and post-event meetings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capability to manage customer budgets and operational challenges
- Experience in coordinating with multiple departments and clients
- Willingness to support senior leadership
- Capacity to operate onsite full time in Nashville, Tennessee

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales, property departments and customers for consistent, high-level service
- Handle complex events from pre-event to post-event phases
- Ensure seamless turnover between sales and service teams
- Recognize and capitalize on opportunities to maximize revenue by offering upsells and enhancements
- Support and act on behalf of the Director of Event Management or Director of Event Planning and Operations in their absence
- Serve as the primary contact for event clients on property ensuring excellent customer experience
- Lead pre-event and post-event meetings and manage customer budgets
- Oversee customer experience throughout event lifecycle including managing group room blocks and meeting space
- Address and solve operational challenges for assigned groups
- Participate in customer site inspections and facilitate sales process
- Act as liaison between field sales and customers
- Manage revenue and profitability related to events
- Forecast revenues, review billing, and coordinate communication regarding event details
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback and handle complaints
- Strive to improve service performance and set a positive example for guest relations
- Celebrate team successes and recognize contributions
- Follow up with customers post-event to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction
