The Senior Events Manager at ISC2 plays a critical role in leading the strategic oversight and performance of the Americas event portfolio. This portfolio includes a variety of event types such as in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, alongside workshops and webinars. The Senior Events Manager is responsible for setting priorities, defining success metrics, and establishing robust frameworks that ensure ISC2 events effectively engage members, enhance the organization's brand presence, and meet or exceed revenue goals. This leadership position also entails managing budgets and costs, analyzing event performance and attendee feedback, and collaborating closely with multiple teams to optimize content delivery and audience engagement.
In addition to managing regional events, the Senior Events Manager serves as the global program owner for ISC2's virtual events and webinar series. This includes continuous improvement of program design, technology integration, scalability, and attendee experience. The role requires strategic vision in the development of sustainable virtual and webinar programs, effective collaboration with production teams, marketing, and member engagement to broaden reach and impact. This position demands strong operational and technical oversight, including management of event technology ecosystems, vendor partnerships, and data integrations. The Senior Events Manager is also expected to stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure ISC2 remains at the forefront of event management within the cybersecurity domain.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or relevant field
- 10+ years of experience managing various types of events
- 5+ years' experience with virtual platforms and event technology such as CVENT or similar software
- CMP or other event certification preferred
- experience in cybersecurity, technology, or membership associations is a plus
- familiarity with event technology, webinar platforms, and CRM system integration
- ability to work extended hours as events require
- willingness to travel up to 20% domestically
- ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs during onsite events
