Job Description
Lucky Strike Entertainment is a leading location-based entertainment company with a rich portfolio of over 360 locations across North America, delivering cutting-edge entertainment experiences such as bowling, amusements, water parks, and family entertainment centers. Known for its commitment to innovation, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement, Lucky Strike Entertainment has also acquired the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), solidifying its position as a major player in the entertainment and sports media industry. This dynamic company cultivates an inclusive, fun-loving culture where work feels more like a passion than a job. With a network of over 12,000 associates and brands like Bowlero, AMF, and Lucky Strike, the organization prides itself on a collaborative atmosphere that fosters growth and exceptional guest experiences.
The Senior Event Sales Manager at Lucky Strike Entertainment plays a pivotal role in turning client inquiries into unforgettable events. Based in a hybrid environment of San Francisco or San Jose, CA, this position offers a competitive salary range between $75,000 and $85,000 per year, alongside a 1% to 3% commission structure. This is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic sales professional passionate about event planning, client relationship management, and team leadership. The Senior Event Sales Manager acts as both a client liaison and a strategic leader, overseeing multi-venue event sales and coordinating closely with the operations team to ensure flawless execution of every booked event. This role demands a blend of creativity, sales acumen, and interpersonal finesse to create compelling event experiences that resonate with clients and guests alike.
The core mission is to transform every inquiry into a guaranteed booking by leveraging deep knowledge of Lucky Strike's unique venue offerings and event capabilities. The role involves managing a sales pipeline, exceeding individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and leading daily meetings to drive team success. Beyond sales, the manager provides on-site operational support including hosting Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and ensuring streamlined collaboration between sales and operations. Client care is paramount; the manager offers engaging venue tours, detailed event planning, and ongoing relationship management to foster high retention and repeat business.
Flexibility and a customer-first mindset are essential, given the fast-paced, event-driven nature of the business. The role requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak seasons. In addition, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, underpin success in representing the company and conveying the event experience effectively to prospective clients. As part of a vibrant office culture, the Senior Event Sales Manager also participates in virtual meetings, embracing technology to maintain team connectivity and professionalism. This position offers a unique mix of hands-on selling, leadership, and event coordination within a brand that values innovation and top-tier customer experiences.
