Job Description
Garnish is a well-established event management company with over fifteen years of experience in designing and executing impactful events. Known for their transparent, focused, and passionate approach, Garnish has earned a reputation for being an extension of their clients' teams. Their expertise spans a variety of event types including user conferences, executive forums, sales kickoffs, partner summits, and sales incentive trips. Their success is primarily driven through organic referrals, which testifies to their partnership-centered methodology and commitment to excellence in every event they handle.
The Senior Event Registration & Technology Manager position at Garnish is a critical role that requires a blend of technical expertise and innovative problem-solving. This role focuses on providing leadership in the planning, deployment, and optimization of event registration and technology systems. The manager will oversee every aspect of the attendee journey, from initial registration and housing arrangements to virtual and hybrid event delivery and post-event reporting. This role demands an individual who is versatile—capable of managing complex multi-track registration setups, vendor relationships, and technical troubleshooting in live scenarios.
The Senior Event Registration & Technology Manager will take ownership of registration platform builds within tools like Swoogo and Cvent, customizing workflows, conditional logic, pricing schemes, and multi-path registrations with a creative approach. In addition to developing event websites, dashboards, and communication materials, the role requires managing a comprehensive technology stack that supports content resource centers, meeting tools, onsite badging, and mobile applications. Vendor management including evaluation, selection, and ongoing support is an essential function as well.
In the communications realm, this manager will craft thorough event communication plans spanning invitations, reminders, and post-event follow-ups, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client brand-tone. A critical dimension is the oversight of housing logistics, coordinating hotel room blocks, reservation processes, and maintaining high customer satisfaction for attendees and VIP guests.
Furthermore, the role demands hands-on management of virtual and hybrid event platforms, including livestream production, technical rehearsals, and real-time troubleshooting to ensure flawless event delivery. Onsite event technology operations require careful coordination, from badge printing to attendee check-in, reinforced by well-documented procedures and staff training.
With a client-centric and collaborative approach, this manager will act as the primary technical liaison for assigned events, facilitate project planning with internal teams, and mentor junior staff. High attention to detail, data integrity, and compliance with privacy standards such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, and GDPR are critical to success. Located remotely with a requirement to travel within New England for team meetings, this role offers a competitive starting salary from $105,000 annually, comprehensive health benefits, and additional perks including a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
