Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management event planning or related field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in event planning preferably in hotel or upscale hospitality
  • Proficiency in event planning software and technology
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively

Job Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in hotel event planning or related field
  • Experience in luxury or upscale hospitality environments preferred
  • Proficiency in event planning systems and tools such as Envision and Social Tables
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of events ensuring accuracy and exceptional service delivery
  • Champion a service culture and build strong relationships with clients throughout the event lifecycle
  • Drive event revenue through effective planning budget management and collaboration with sales and leadership
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to guarantee seamless event logistics
  • Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability
  • Supervise and mentor junior event staff to maintain high performance standards
  • Evaluate event success and implement improvements for future initiatives
