Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant event planning and hotel convention services experience
  • proven ability to manage complex, high-volume group and convention events independently
  • strong knowledge of banquet event orders and group resume processes
  • excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • strong problem-solving ability
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive event planning, hotel convention services experience, preferably in a full-service or convention hotel environment
  • proven experience independently managing complex, high-volume group and convention events
  • strong knowledge of event detailing, banquet event orders (BEOs), and group resume processes
  • strong client relationship management and communication skills
  • ability to problem solve quickly and adapt in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Job Duties

  • Lead the planning and execution of large-scale, high-volume group and catering events
  • serve as key liaison between clients and hotel operations teams
  • oversee all event details from turnover through execution
  • provide leadership, guidance, and support to other Event Planning Managers
  • act as the group's onsite contact to ensure smooth event execution
  • build and maintain strong client relationships
  • collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments to guarantee seamless event operations
