We are currently seeking a Senior Event Planner to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will take charge of planning, coordinating, and executing national conferences and online events specifically for high-level government clients. This position requires extensive expertise in event planning practices, especially within the realm of virtual platforms such as Webex. The ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, vendor negotiations, and logistical organization, is essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in delivering impactful events that align with strategic goals.
As Senior Event Planner, your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with clients to understand their specific objectives and crafting event strategies that maximize engagement and participation. You will oversee venue selection, contract negotiations, and the management of all on-site activities for physical conferences. For online events, you'll design and manage virtual sessions ensuring smooth technical delivery and interactive participant experiences.
The role also involves leading a team of event coordinators, assistants, and volunteers, fostering a culture of teamwork and ensuring high standards of execution. You will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and innovate our event offerings continuously. The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications such as SGMP (Society of Government Meeting Professionals) or CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) and demonstrate proficiency in a broad range of event management software and tools.
We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that supports your professional and personal well-being. Join us and contribute to delivering world-class events that have a national impact.
