The role being offered is a pivotal position responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing a diverse range of school events for current and prospective clients. The candidate will take an active part in meetings to carefully plan and organize each event, ensuring the highest customer satisfaction is achieved before, during, and after every engagement. Acting as an event manager on various occasions throughout the school year, this role demands leadership, detailed organizational capabilities, and strong customer service skills. In addition to hands-on event coordination, the position requires preparing precise sales and business development reports, aiding senior management in monitoring the achievement of targets. The role also involves analyzing customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities to foster continuous improvement. A critical component includes developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, while promoting company programs and packages to both new and existing accounts.
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the event industry and at least 5 years of full-service event planning experience for a company equal to or larger than SOS Entertainment. The ideal professional is responsible, reliable, and possesses strong multitasking and organizational skills, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication abilities. The role requires an uplifting and engaging personality, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive spirit. A high level of customer service experience, a clean driving record with an unrestricted driver’s license, and a hardworking nature are mandatory. Preferred qualifications include experience in student government or student leadership, along with a bachelor's or master's degree in related fields.
This full-time position offers an attractive starting base salary ranging from $95,000 to $115,000, with added commissions and bonuses totaling between $10,000 and $40,000 annually. The compensation package includes paid time off and benefits valued at approximately $10,000. Job Duties
- Coordinate, plan and execute a variety of school events for current and potential clients
- Attend meetings as required to complete planning for each event
- Monitor customer satisfaction before, during and after each event to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded
- Undertake an event manager role on events as required throughout the school year
- Complete applicable sales and business development reports in order for senior management to monitor achievement of target
- Monitor and provide feedback as requested on customer, market, and competitor activity
