As a proud member of Compass Group USA, Rapport distinguishes itself from typical recruitment agencies by committing to long-term career development and direct employment rather than temporary contracts. This approach creates a stable, supportive environment that fosters continuous professional growth and meaningful career opportunities for every team member. Rapport offers a globally connected workplace culture, bringing together diverse talents from multiple disciplines to collaborate, innovate, and share ideas beyond local boundaries. The brand emphasizes investing in its ambassadors by offering personalized training and development programs tailored to advance career aspirations. The Senior Event Planner role at Rapport is pivotal to the smooth operation and success of the venue's event offerings. This position carries a comprehensive set of responsibilities that include overseeing the entire lifecycle of event planning — from initial client inquiries to post-event evaluations. The Senior Event Planner leads complex, high-profile functions, ensuring that every detail is executed to the highest standard while maintaining strong communication channels among clients, internal teams, and external vendors. Key to this role is the ability to manage substantial event logistics, coordinate vendor relationships, and uphold operational excellence in line with the company’s rigorous service and brand standards.
Leaders in this position will serve as mentors to junior staff, guiding and developing them to succeed while continuously pushing for innovation in event execution. The role demands a strong focus on operational and financial oversight, ensuring all events comply with venue policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations, alongside budget management and maximization of guest experiences through upselling opportunities. Rapport encourages candidates who bring a proactive, detail-oriented mindset along with proficient software skills and the flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedules. Salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $85,000 per year, reflecting the senior level of responsibility and expertise required.
