Job Description

Hilton is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, known for delivering exceptional guest experiences through its world-class hotels and resorts. Established with a founding vision to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, Hilton has welcomed over 3 billion guests worldwide. The company's commitment to excellence is reflected not only in its services but also in its award-winning workplace culture, which has earned it repeated accolades on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune. Hilton operates a suite of renowned brands that set new standards for the future of travel, making it a sought-after employer for individuals passionate about hospitality and career growth.

As a Senior Event Manager at Hilton, you play a pivotal role in orchestrating complex events that create memorable and impactful experiences for guests. This role goes beyond managing logistics; it embodies the spirit of hospitality by spreading warmth and light through every interaction and event executed on property. The position demands a highly organized and proactive professional who can seamlessly transition events from sales to service while being the primary liaison to clients. You will be responsible for managing event documentation, overseeing the event lifecycle, and ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and swift resolution of any challenges.

In this role, client relationship management is paramount. Building trust and rapport with clients throughout the event process ensures that expectations are managed, and experiences are elevated. Moreover, identifying opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling and enhancements is a strategic aspect of the job, requiring a keen eye for business growth and guest satisfaction. Leading and guiding the event team is also an essential responsibility, where you provide clear direction, feedback, and coaching to maintain consistently high standards of service.

Additionally, as a senior team member, you will support leadership and play a crucial role in decision-making during complex situations, stepping in for senior leaders as necessary. Hilton values core qualities such as integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency, all of which are vital for success in this role. The company’s culture fosters a supportive environment where you can thrive both professionally and personally.

Hilton offers exceptional benefits and care for its team members, including incredible travel perks with discounted room rates, an employee stock purchase program to help build financial security, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving support, and comprehensive health and welfare plans. Mental health resources, crisis concierge services, and generous paid time off are part of the holistic support system designed to enhance your wellbeing. Joining Hilton means becoming part of a team that not only values your contributions but also invests in your growth and happiness, making it more than just a job but a fulfilling career journey.
