Job Requirements
- Minimum two years experience in event planning within a resort or hotel environment
- Flexible scheduling based on group needs
- Knowledge of Delphi.fdc hotel property management system preferred
- CMP certification preferred
- Five years of hotel event management experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle complex event coordination tasks
- Strong organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years event planning experience within a resort or hotel environment
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
- CMP certification preferred
- Five years experience in hotel event management is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage complex events and client relationships
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Job Duties
- Organize, plan and prioritize event management duties
- Ensure timely communication with clients and internal teams
- Create and maintain client relationships to meet and exceed expectations
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel systems, products, and processes
- Resolve conflicts and negotiate to manage complaints and disputes
- Upsell and influence clients to maximize revenue
- Participate in site inspections and assist with sales processes
