Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience in event planning within a resort or hotel environment
  • Flexible scheduling based on group needs
  • Knowledge of Delphi.fdc hotel property management system preferred
  • CMP certification preferred
  • Five years of hotel event management experience is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle complex event coordination tasks
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years event planning experience within a resort or hotel environment
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
  • CMP certification preferred
  • Five years experience in hotel event management is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage complex events and client relationships
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize event management duties
  • Ensure timely communication with clients and internal teams
  • Create and maintain client relationships to meet and exceed expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel systems, products, and processes
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate to manage complaints and disputes
  • Upsell and influence clients to maximize revenue
  • Participate in site inspections and assist with sales processes
