Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in event management or related hospitality roles
  • Strong leadership and managerial experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in event planning software and technology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Proven track record of managing complex events successfully

  • Proven experience in event management or related hospitality roles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills

Job Duties

  • Execute complex events by managing event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions from sales to service, serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution
  • Own the client relationship by building trust and rapport through the event lifecycle, proactively manage expectations, resolve issues, ensure memorable client experience
  • Maximize revenue opportunities by identifying upsell possibilities and recommending enhancements to increase contract value
  • Guide team performance by communicating client requirements, providing direction, offering feedback and coaching to ensure high-level service
  • Support leadership and decision-making by stepping in for senior leaders as needed and navigating complex challenges through informed decisions
