Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event management, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in event planning and management focusing on corporate and luxury events
  • Proven experience planning and executing complex events
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial plans
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Conceptualize, plan, and manage a diverse portfolio of corporate and luxury events including conferences, galas, product launches, and private celebrations
  • Develop detailed event proposals including creative themes, logistical plans, and comprehensive budgets
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors including venues, caterers, A/V providers, florists, and entertainment
  • Oversee all aspects of event production including venue selection, setup, décor, staffing, and on-site management
  • Manage event budgets meticulously ensuring profitability and adherence to financial guidelines
  • Develop and execute event marketing and communication strategies to drive attendance and engagement
  • Provide exceptional client service acting as the primary point of contact throughout the event planning process
  • Conduct post-event analysis gather client feedback and prepare comprehensive event recaps
  • Stay abreast of latest trends in event design, technology, and guest experiences
  • Ensure all events are executed seamlessly, safely, and in compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with internal creative, production, and sales teams to deliver integrated event solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals
