As a leading player in the luxury hospitality and entertainment sector, we combine a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an unwavering commitment to client satisfaction and financial performance. Our venue attracts elite clientele seeking unforgettable events and distinguished service in a sophisticated setting.
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Event Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of private events at our venue. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and includes performance-based bonus opportunities as part of the compensation package. In this critical role, the Senior Event Manager will manage every aspect of events from contract through execution, ensuring that client expectations are not only met but exceeded. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the event booking process, planning meetings, site tours, menu selections, and logistics consultations. They will develop detailed banquet event orders (BEOs), timelines, floor plans, and execution plans to guarantee flawless events.
The Senior Event Manager will oversee event operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown, managing multiple events simultaneously without compromising attention to detail. Strong collaboration with culinary, beverage, operations, entertainment, security, and production teams is essential to executing seamless corporate meetings, concerts, weddings, galas, fundraisers, private parties, and VIP events. This role also serves as the on-site manager during events, providing immediate resolution to any operational challenges that arise.
Beyond event execution, the position involves identifying opportunities to maximize event revenue through upselling and enhanced guest experiences. The Senior Event Manager supports venue sales initiatives by cultivating long-term client relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals. They also assist in meeting annual event revenue goals and profitability targets, working closely with marketing teams to promote the venue's capabilities and event offerings.
The role includes leadership responsibilities such as training and mentoring event coordinators and support staff, leading pre-event meetings and post-event recaps, and fostering a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and accountability. Financial and administrative duties involve managing event budgets, billing accuracy, deposits, final reconciliations, and event documentation, as well as utilizing event management software and CRM systems to track business activity.
This position requires a hospitality professional with over five years of event management experience in luxury hospitality or high-volume event facilities, proven success in managing large-scale events, and exceptional organizational and project management skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a demanding environment, be proficient in event management and CRM software, and have excellent communication skills. Experience in luxury hotels, entertainment or concert venues, private clubs, or destination event facilities is preferred, as is formal education in hospitality, event management, marketing, or business and certifications such as CMP. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, venue and entertainment privileges, and professional development opportunities, reflecting our commitment to employee growth and satisfaction.
