Job Description

ABM (NYSE: ABM) is a global leader in facility services and solutions, dedicated to creating cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments. Established in 1909, ABM has grown to serve over 20,000 clients across a multitude of industries, including commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, entertainment venues, and more. With an annualized revenue nearing $8 billion and a workforce of over 100,000 team members spread across 350+ offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, ABM emphasizes innovation, excellence, and commitment to its clients and communities. The company offers a comprehensive range of services including janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical, landscape and turf, and mission critical solutions.

ABM is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Event Lead for stadium operations to join its dynamic team. This full-time role offers hourly pay ranging between $22.00 and $25.00, with the final salary determined by the candidate’s experience, skills, geographic location, and market alignment. Working hours are flexible and can vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the nature of event-based work.

The Senior Event Lead plays a crucial role within stadium management, overseeing day-to-day operations to guarantee a safe, secure, and seamless experience for guests, staff, and vendors. This position requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on supervision to maintain high operational standards during events as well as non-event days. The role involves supervising multiple stadium areas such as seating, concourses, restrooms, and VIP sections while ensuring strict compliance with safety, security, and cleanliness protocols. Coordinating with maintenance, security, and event teams is essential to quickly address and resolve any operational issues.

In addition to operational oversight, the Senior Event Lead is responsible for managing a team comprising event staff, ushers, and support personnel. This includes assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and feedback to ensure efficient staffing and outstanding service delivery. The role also involves administrative tasks such as scheduling assistance, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and preparing detailed post-event reports that highlight staffing levels, incidents, and areas for operational improvement.

A key aspect of the position is event management, where the Senior Event Lead acts as the primary point of contact for operational matters during stadium events. This encompasses overseeing crowd control, guest services, and emergency response procedures while collaborating with vendors and contractors to facilitate smooth event execution. Inventory management for supplies and equipment is also part of the responsibilities, along with supporting budgeting and cost control initiatives related to operations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in stadium, arena, or large venue operations, with supervisory experience preferred but not mandatory. Educationally, a high school diploma or equivalent is required, while an associate or bachelor’s degree is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, the capacity to handle high-pressure situations, and proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer applications.

Physically, the job demands the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds as necessary, and work flexible hours accommodating nights, weekends, and holidays. ABM is committed to Equal Opportunity Employment and provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. As a military-friendly company, ABM welcomes veterans and offers them access to elite training programs and career advancement opportunities.

Joining ABM as a Senior Event Lead provides a unique chance to be part of a world-class organization focused on operational excellence and customer satisfaction at large-scale venues. Candidates will find a supportive work environment that values diversity, safety, and professional development, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support their health, well-being, and financial security. For those passionate about event operations and stadium management, this role offers meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact in delivering unforgettable experiences for every event hosted.
