Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- 10 or more years of relevant experience
- 5 or more years as senior executive or VP level in retail or related field
- Proficiency with AI tools
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to coach and develop others
- Certification such as SPHR or SCP preferred
- Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Organizational ability and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership experience
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience with HR information systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, UKG, Domo, Adobe Creative Suite and social media platforms
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
- Over 10 years of experience in Operations or Human Resources with proven success
- Minimum of 5 years in senior executive or VP role within retail or similar sector
- Proficient with AI tools and HR technology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about coaching and talent development
- SPHR/SCP or equivalent preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving oriented
- Effective supervisory and leadership abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws
- Experience with human resource information systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, UKG, Domo, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital platforms
Job Duties
- Architect and drive the people vision in partnership with the VP
- Lead organizational transformation and design future state support center
- Own the talent and succession pipeline with proactive succession planning
- Unify and develop a high-performing People team through coaching and mentorship
- Serve as a strategic partner and challenger to executive leadership with data-driven insights
- Ensure operational excellence in core People functions including Total Rewards, Compliance, and Associate Relations
- Lead change management and adoption through effective communication and training
- Foster a positive associate relations climate ensuring labor relations and legal compliance
