The role of Senior Events Director is a critical leadership position that manages the end-to-end delivery of large corporate events. The Senior Events Director ensures that every event adheres to the company’s standards of excellence while delivering a flawless guest experience. Serving as the primary contact during event execution, they are responsible for problem-solving in real time and maintaining effective communications with all stakeholders. This position works closely with C-level executives and internal leadership teams to align event strategies with organizational goals. The annual salary range for the Senior Events Director position is $135,000 to $170,000 depending on experience, with approximately 20 live events managed each year. The role requires occasional weekend availability and involves limited regional travel (about 10% travel to Arizona and California). Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in large-scale corporate event management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large live event productions and diverse teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Proficient in budgeting, contract negotiation, and vendor relations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% to Arizona and California

Job Duties

  • Manage event budgets, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during events, resolving issues as they arise
  • Partner closely with C-level executives and leadership teams to ensure successful event execution
