The Senior Designer position at TriMark USA plays a pivotal role within its Design & Development division. Reporting directly to the Divisional Director, Design & Development, this full-time hybrid role offers flexibility with opportunities to work from various locations including Omaha, NE; Lenexa, KS; Bedford Park, IL; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; and Pittsburgh, PA. The role demands a seasoned professional with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in the foodservice design and construction sector or equivalent practical or military experience. As a Senior Designer, you will leverage your advanced skills and leadership abilities to guide the design team in producing high-quality commercial kitchen design projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed draft layouts, production drawings, and compelling presentation materials that meet stringent client requirements.
Beyond technical design responsibilities, this role requires strong client engagement skills. You will lead client meetings and oversee project execution, using your rich experience to foster collaborative and productive relationships. You will also assume greater responsibility for managing project drawings, ensuring their accuracy and alignment with project goals, and mentoring junior team members to cultivate a culture of growth and innovation. This leadership element is central to the position, as it requires guiding less experienced designers and contributing to the team’s continuous improvement.
The Senior Designer will be proficient with advanced software tools such as Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM360, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, AutoQuotes, KCL, Skype, and Microsoft Office applications. This expertise supports the team’s capabilities and ensures design materials are enhanced and efficient. Candidates are expected to be detail-oriented, strategic thinkers with the ability to solve complex design challenges and contribute meaningfully to project success.
TriMark USA offers competitive compensation that includes a base salary, potential for commissions or bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, tuition reimbursement, pet insurance, legal insurance, and participation in recognition programs such as Community Service Day, Spotlight Awards, National Sales Excellence Awards, and professional development opportunities including the CFSP Prep Certification Program. The company is dedicated to inclusivity and equal employment opportunity and supports accommodations for applicants throughout the hiring process. TriMark USA also maintains strict protocols to ensure candidate safety and combat fraudulent recruitment practices.
